A lot of poeple avoid eating eggs because of the poor living conditions and suffering forced upon the hens, who lay the eggs, The staeroids and crap they feed to the hen to make it ‘produce’ unatural quantities of eggs ends up in the egg also.

For this recipe, she said that they used canned, drained lentils. Lentils are the seeds of a plant, they come in a variety of colors and are used a lot in ethnic cuisine. My husbands Turkish step mother makes a delicious lentil soup. Dry lentils cook quickly on the stove top.

I made this recipe for dinner tonight and it was good. I added more salt, cumin, pepper because it was a little bland. The next time, I won’t use the eggs because it made them a little too soft in the middle. I also used flax seed instead of wheat germ because I didn’t have any wheat germ. I did not use mustard (I don’t like mustard) It did taste good and I’m not vegeterian, I just like to skip meat often. Thanks for the vid… I think I’ll bake them in the oven next time rather than fry.

I also just used dried lentils (cheaper) and cooked them in water for about 1/2 an hour. I sauteed my onions and garlic in water before putting them in the mix because that mellows the flavor of both and makes the onions sweeter.
